pleased to meet you ...

the Jordan Cats are named after characters from Terry Pratchett's Discworld (well, apart from Pepper, whose name comes from another Pratchett book, Good Omens); you can find descriptions of their characters from the books on our individual pages, but they're not really like them at all. Oh no. [they made us say that].

they consist of:

• the Stepford Cats, Esk and Ptep - a brace of Siamese-y felines who often look as though they've been programmed to move in harmony
• Iggy and Mustrum, a pair of spotted Bengals, a.k.a the Spotty Chaps
• Aliss and Molly, twin Maine Coons, known as the Tufty Girls
• Zool, a Burmilla known simply as That Cat
• Pepper and Shrimp - the Stripey Sisters
• Drumknott - known colloquially as PoD (the Prince of Darkness)
• and the Midwich Kittens, the unbearably cute Lilith and Liessa
  

cats who no longer live with us
we've lost some cats, but their pages remain on the site, just as they live on in our hearts and memories.

we lost Shrimp to a fall on 29 February 2000, Zool was killed by a car on 1 October 2003, and we had Molly rehomed in October 2003 (that was a bad month ...). And our marvellous PoD has not been seen since the end of November 2004, so we must reluctantly accept that he has gone :(

you can mail the cats if you'd like to know more about them. Or you could send them a virtual fish . . . salmon would be nice - they like that.
