Just because he Nearly Died doesn't mean that Ptep can just insert himself on top of any other cat without so much as a by your leave; he doesn't need that excuse, he just does it anyway.
It's just as well, really, that Iggy has reserves of gruntle almost as extensive as those he has of gravitas.
